Rabbi Akiva, one of the greatest Jewish sages, didn’t learn the aleph-bet until he was 40. Which is another way to say that, whatever your age or prior experience (even if you’re just beginning), you’re welcome to come and learn with us.
Whether you’d like to understand Hebrew, delve into Jewish texts, learn how to lead services, chant Torah or Haftorah, find out more about Jewish history and observance, or discover Mussar spiritual practice, you’ll find these opportunities and more at Beth Israel.
For youth, we offer family learning and experiential opportunities in addition to bar and bat mitzvah preparation. Congregation Beth Israel is home to the Rimon Religious School, a hands-on, discovery-oriented Jewish learning experience, open to Central Massachusetts Jewish families.
